Salam (Peace) is a name of Allah and Allah is Salam !. "Salam" is not just a name of Allah, but it's the name from which the title of religion is derived. That's not only "Islam" revealed to "Mohammed" SAW[i] but, Islam, in it's general meaning: namely, the message with which came all of previous apostles, peace be upon them. It's the religion of all people who followed Prophets Muhammad , Jesus, Moses and Ibraham. Ibraham , who has been described in the holly Quran as a s true Moslem, as Allah says, what it's meaning would be translated as: (When his Lord said to him, “Submit!” –Which means "be a Moslem". He said, “I have submitted to the Lord of the Worlds. –means : I am, thus, a Moslem.. ” * "And Abraham exhorted his sons, and Jacob, “O my sons, Allah has honored you with this religion, so do not die unless you are Moslems.” Al Baqarah (cow) 131-132.
In the Quran, it is stated about apostle Jesus –peace be upon him, what it's meaning would be translated as:
"But when Jesus felt the persistence on disbelief from them, he said, "Who are my supporters for in the cause of Allah ?". The disciples said," We are supporters for Allah . We have believed in Allah and testify that we are Muslims [submitting to Him]. Aal-e mran 52. This confirms what I have indicated before that, that Islam is the religion that all apostles had been sent with. While Moses-peace be upon him, when he defeated magicians, and they determined to follow him, they said that : " O Lord, pour upon us patience and let us die as Muslims [in submission to You]." Al A'raf 126, as it's meaning would be translated.
These are just few cases out of many examples of Quranic evidences that we all have come originally from peace, and belong to the same Lord "Allah" and "peace" is a name of Allah, the Lord of the whole being.
We all should all activate principles of love between us as human beings. This love which has it roots very deep in our live!. "Salam" is love to all as it's love to the Lord, who named himself with this sublime name.. Salam should be the be symbol of greetings and love between us !, as we do.. It means reconciliation among us and working rightful matters where they should be, removing falsity and injustice too far away.
We are, equal humans originally; the same rights, the same duties… In our hearts "Allah" implanted the seeds of mercy and pity on the humble and needy !. We all are created as to have sorrow on the dead ! and to pray for the sick ! and to extend charity to our neighbors ! and to have sympathy for the orphan and take care of him !. We are created with every particularity of noble behavior and well conduct. First to be sincere with ourselves, and second, in dealing with other persons in this world! .
Starting from our families, relatives and neighbors unit next seventh neighbor, than your countrymen and so on until reaching all of mankind! Even though he or she is at the far most point of this planet!.
So honesty is a part of your existence and clemency is a formative part of you. Those attributes don’t consult you how to deal with others emerging from them. For example, when you are in the context of helping somebody who is in danger and in bad need for your assistance, you should not question at this moment about his country of origin, race, color or religion.. In such emergencies , your heart will command you to move ahead without questioning about anything!. Just move and rescue ! . To do everything possible to get him out of this dilemma unharmed.. …You may help him with blood donation should he in hospital in need for blood! . It's your original feelings to help others or establish honest friendship with them or behave with them in a stylistic humanitarian manners.
So it is the honesty and purity that characterize mankind from other creatures. These noble attributes are reflected in a light emanating from the faces of good people, while appears as darkness in the faces of bad people who suppressed what Allah has given them of good natures and substituted them with evil .Because light comes from hearts full of love brighter and clearly, therefore we like this person. That everyone, have his marks on his face.
We take greetings, and deem that a charity as given in the religion of Islam. We say Assalamu Alykum. Is greeting better and more significant than applying peace it self on reality?! How can I give charity with "Salam" which is the word of peace, on a brother or a sister whom I know and perhaps I don’t know ! while at the same time I don’t carry the meanings of Salam in myself?. Moreover, I don’t understand it and I don’t care for it? Why don’t we consider the verses of the noble Quran ?!. In which our Lord orders us to act honestly as we say, as he says what it's meaning would be translated as: "
"O you who believe! Why do you say that which you do not do?* Most hateful it is with Allah that you say that which you do not do." Assaf -1-2.
Let's make peace prevail on us both in words and acts as well!. Then when our hearts are sincere, and our organs act rightly, our tongues become truthful and not vice versa!.
What happens if we like each other as Allah orders us!. How will we be. Just imagine a world covered with love!. Covered with peace and reassurance!. How happy will we be ?. How shall we invest our time in building and developing our means of live ?. In combating harmful coexistent parasites such as diseases and poverty ?!. That in stead of wasting our time in conspiracies and planning against each other !. In hatred and revenge !. In addition to other evil habits such as envy, bad speech and backbiting each other and accordingly destroying happy families ?.
What will we gain from such bad habits?!. Haven't we taken the lessons from previous lessons yet?!.
What have we gained from the practices of black hearts except large losses and pain both on personal and public levels ?!. Such losses are proliferating to touch ourhome countries, property and children…
Let's maintain what we have of noble descriptions and behaviors achievements. Let's always reform ourselves first. We have not been created as angles never mistake! We are human committing faults, and capable for development and advancement in all sectors without exception. What happen if we just compete with our previous faults ? Why don’t we combat these faults in stead of remaining busy with plotting for ourselves, our brothers and our communities ?. If we compare ourselves with yesterday live and take advantage of mistakes ! we will gain too many things to learn from ! . Each of us should compete with himself in stead of competing with his colleagues and look to his achievements revengefully or envy him!. I should compare myself according to my abilities, and make out of these abilities a successful honest person who provides himself and people around with Allah has blessed him of valuable talents !. That every one of us has got certain talents in a field, which differ from those talents given to other brothers, neighbors or collogues. Therefore each one of us should concentrate on his talents and improve them appropriately.
Once again, let's compare ourselves as we are today, and how we were yesterday!. Let's avail from our experience accordingly, and advance our life.
Isn't that peace with ourselves means peace with others?!. Isn't peace of others peace with you?!. Doesn't that mean living in a great peaceful environment ?!. Such life is the intact meaningful life Allah, our highly exalted Lord wants us to like!. Everyday we do good things and ask him for forgiving until we die clean of sins, as a shining white pure innocent cloth.
"Allah" is Salam… "Allah" is love !.
We march in the path of Allah! and for his cause!. Further, we love him. We all are looking foorward to live with our children in peace, on this earth which Allah granted to mankind, in one way direction that's the direction of doing good!!. That’s the victory of welfare, love and useful principles, notwithstanding difficulties and pressures and devils of all kinds!. Our benevolence spirits are stronger !. Our determination is harder than any hardness!. That because we have chosen the right and nothing else..
We must always repeat; I hate blood shedding. I hate killing, I hate destruction, I hate injustice..!.
I hate to see the tears of my brother !. I hate to hear my neighbor crying painfully ! I hate events resulting orphans! I hate terrifying old people!. I hate to exploit the weakness of a woman! I hate to harm a disarmed person!. I hate to cut a tree !. I hate to pick a flower and walk on it !. I hate to enforce a bird to immigrate searching for a secured place ! I hate to see cats hiding under rocky shields from the humming shells !. I hate to see squirrels disappear from our forests !. and hate to see our land deserted from butterflies as a punishment to evil people!.
I hate to hide our children in shelters from guns fire, smoke and wailing voices !. I hate wars !. I hate destruction !.All of us hate these evil things ! . Let's than repeat them as to keep them by heart and apply them in our consciousness in order to stop the killing in the name of belief..!. I hate killing in the name of doctrine, in the name of sect, in the name of the party, in the name of the militias, in the name of the leader, miscreant, murderer or robber. I hate that … I hate killing in the name of that one who is reaping the fruits of orphanhood and dismay of our children and our future, and we do not reap nothing but destruction…!!.
We should exert our efforts to teach our children the meaning of love, and to drop away too far intolerance, racism and sectarianism. We must wipe away such words from our personal terminologies !. Please believe me, such themes never serve you, but serve the agendas of spoilers, bad agents and mercenaries and continue to upgrade their positions, and enlarge their pockets for looting our wealth !!... In the same time your concerns and grieves will increase !.Orphans proliferate here and there among you !. Your fears will be deeper and victims everywhere can be seen !. You will remain in mourning black dress !. While those mine planters will remain celebrating…..!.
Thus "Salam" –peace- is the stability and development of our countries, and prosperity. "Salam" is to dedicate ourselves for achievements of prosperity because what is happening in the Arab and Middle East countries, as well as in other different parts of the world, are perverted terrorist attempts with no aim except spoiling our humanitarian march toward progress and creativity and to participate in civilization and beautiful future for our children. Those children who represent our hope for a better tomorrow.
Let's fight terrorism and murder just on the identity card !. Let's fight bombings of all kinds, and explosives…let's fight every harmful aspect with love and hope and proper education since childhood and watching the young, males and females grow with good, beautiful values growing with them before being abducted by wicked people with their destructive ideas. Let's fight with tenderness of family and warmth of truthful relations !. Let's fight unemployment, violence and poverty. Let's fight destitution, injustice and darkness . Let's fight these harmful phenomenon, but with our weapon of civilization, science and advancement, not weapons of killing and bombing. No… no.. our weapon will be literature, art, science and escalate them towards peace.
So our role will be a noble role.. Each one of us should bear his responsibility if we want peace to prevail our land.
Peace that we hope to prevails the earth completely, because we are inhabiting it.. It's because the land belongs to "Allah" and mankind are his worshippers !. So our homes, and these homes of people we love will be full of happiness. !.Happiness which originally should be in every spot of our lives, has become now, unfortunately, a very seldom thing , in a world lacking love and peace..
Therefore, nothing happier than sharing each other's love, peace and dream of a world free of wars and terrorism of all kinds.
As for our children, whom we love very much, there is nothing better than recovering their missed joy , and their disappeared smile, so they have had lost their innocence. Those children are everything in the future. Everything should be made to their service. This future, that we seek to build with love and feed with smiling ambitions. Our children will correct our mistakes. We hope they will live in peace , because wars and violence bring nothing but destruction, suffering and pain. Otherwise, our children will suffer and pay hard cost as we are doing .
These shells which are launched from guns and canons with fire, to rape the spirits of our beloved people, and demolish our houses have not the ability for distinguishing between various things!. It never stop a while for thinking !. It never ask about what people that will be killed and what destruction it will make..!. It never stop since it have been launched from these weapons to think about an innocent female children it will kill, or a male boy having a flower at his hands in order to present it to his mother or father!.
When beating the drums of war !.
And it's roar goes up above every sound !.
Our hands on our hearts are pushed!.
Blindness of these bombs we fear.
We hope that the plotters beyond these wars have the feeling that many innocent souls will be in danger !. Their arms will rape pure children. They will spoil flowers and deprive us from their smell, and fill the place of them with smell arrogant plotters beyond the war.
Let us establish "Salam" -peace between us, therefore we become unified and able to confront enemies of peace coming from elsewhere in this world.
